Critical Infrastructure Information Sharing for Better EU Vulnerability Awareness and Hybrid attack protection

The presentation will highlight variety of Hybrid Threats that may take place in Critical Infrastructure (CI) landscape.  The need to be prepared for the variety of threats underlines demand for enhanced information sharing between CI operators and entities. Therefore, it will be highlighted what kind of external and internal information, and in what level, is seen valuable to be shared between CI operators in order to support their enhanced vulnerability and risk analysis/ threat modelling. The need for information sharing is also part of the European Union Critical Entities Resilience (CER) Directive and hence reference to the document and present CI European policy context will be given. Lastly, an EC funded project EU-HYBNET (“Empowering a pan-European Network for Countering Hybrid Threats, GA. 883054) will be shortly presented focusing especially the project’s latest findings on CI operations threats and possible solutions to counter hybrid threats, also in the context of enhanced information sharing.
